Volunteers Needed in London!

Mount Pleasant Cemetery in London has given permission for volunteers of CanadaGenWeb's Cemetery Project to photograph each headstone within the cemetery.

Volunteers with digital cameras are being asked to join us to get this entire cemetery photographed this summer.

Each volunteer will be assigned to photograph one section (or part of one section) of the cemetery. Once finished you will pass along your photos to our indexing volunteer (instructions on how-to come after you sign-up). All the photos will be made available, for free, on this website and a copy will be given to Mount Pleasant cemetery for their records.

All volunteers who participate will be credited on the website, and on the copy given to Mount Pleasant, for their contribution.

What To Bring Checklist:

• Fully charged digital camera and a spare battery or two
• A blank photo card
• A notepad & pen
• Cell phone
• Cemetery map showing your assigned section (this will be e-mailed once you sign-up)
