Index corrections are currently low priority. We will accept these corrections but cannot give a specific time frame as to when the correction will be made. With few volunteers helping to update the website our time is spent where it's most needed - maintaining the cemetery database and adding new submissions.
Please note that our indexers and photographers are asked to transcribe the information provided on the headstone. Therefore if the stone is in err the index will be as well. We will correct transcription errors on our part but will not correct headstone errors.
Ages & birth years, unless specified on the headstone, are based on the calculation of death year minus birth year or age at death. Months & days are not included in the calculation so age or birth year may be off by a year. This is not considered an error so please don't request a correction for estimated ages or birth years.
Also note that every name on a headstone is indexed (exceptions may be living persons). So you may click on "BROWN, John" to find it's not his headstone but he's listed on that headstone as a spouse or father. Before commenting that the index brings up an incorrect photo, read the stone carefully.
