Sisson Brook Anglican Church
Route 385, Sisson Brook , Victoria County, N.B.
Sitting to the back of the property belonging now to Doris and Patrice Gerrish, and just south of the property owned by Stanley and Patricia Giberson, is a small lot owned by the Anglican Church of Canada. This lot used to border on what is called “the old road”, which ran several hundred feet to the west of the current road in this location. Although the property is now wooded, and the church has long since been torn down, there are in the woods two tombstones surviving from the old cemetery.
On June 13, 2004, Jean Zinck and Patty Corey visited this location and transcribed these two tombstones. There may have been other graves at one time, but these are only surviving stones. The transcriptions were clearly legible ones.
